Can an HD DVD player play regular DVD upconversion yet?
We want to buy an HD DVD recorder and I found a really cheap but it is called HD upconversion? I've never heard of it, but I can buy one online for $ 109.99 Best Buy It sounds too good to be true ... Does anyone know about this player?? Do they still play non-HD DVD? Please let me know! Thank you! Happy New Year!
I think you either misunderstood, or the product was mislabeled. It should be "DVD / VCR with HD upconversion ", not" HD DVD / VCR. " This model plays standard DVDs and allows you to "up-conversion to HD (Or HD) TV - which means you can enjoy the higher resolution offered by HDTV.
