How to make my (portable) DVD player region free? (no remote)?
I've had a Bush PDVD-312 portable DVD player since xmas 2008; I was really pleased with it but over the past couple days I've been looking at new portable players because I want a multi-region one. However I've been told that you can just hack almost any player.. does anyone know if it's possible to do this with mine??
The big downside to knowing a code is that unfortunately I lost my remote on a school trip to Belgium. So I can't really type any numbers in. Any idea where I can get a new remote from??

my dvd player got good reviews and it is a good player. i was a little disappointed by the battery life but looking at the specs for other players, they all seem to be around 2 hours. it was around the same price as most other players so I don't think it's the best player around, but i isn't cheap and nasty.
Yes, you can hack almost any DVD player to Region free. Except the cheap and nasty ones.
