Can my bridesmaids wear ivory?
I'm gettin married in mid-October in an evening, semi-formal ceremony. I don't know what other "fall" colors that aren't depressing like orange, dark green, burgundy, etc. to use. I want gold and ivory, and I have already found the perfect gold gown. So, if I am wearing gold, can my maids wear ivory dresses? And what color shoes should they wear?
And will gold/ivory with black suits for men look okay? If not, I'm open to suggestion for colors as long as they are not white and black and the others listed above.
A bride and groom can choose whatever color they want even ones that don't go with the season because whatever you pick will be perfect. I know couples get tired of hearing whatever you want to do. But it is the honest truth. The only thing I advise when picking colors is choose something that goes with your personality so guest are not too thrown off. Example: if you are people who are not very elegant don't use such fancy colors go more bold.
I personally think your colors sound perfect. They sound very elegant and formal and if this is the type of wedding you are having then you will pull it off.
