Is there a way to set up dual monitors on a single HDMI graphics card output?
I want a dual monitor setup on my PC (Vista64) and I would like them both to be HDMI. My graphics card has one VGA and one HDMI output, but the manufacturer claims the system can support up to three displays.So either they're wrong, or what I'm suggesting is possible and I just can't find out how it can be accomplished. Can anyone help?
Not really.
The only way i can think of doing this is to get a HDMI to DVI cable, and then use a Matrox Dual Head To Go box to drive two identical DVI-D monitors.
Just use the VGA output. Unless you are running at a very high resolution you will probably not notice a difference.
Three displays would be odd. Most graphics chipsets only support two.
