connecting my lcd tv to my HD-DVR digital cable box?
i recently bought a lcd tv and connected it to my HD-DVR digital cable box. when i turn the cable box and tv on there are 2 black bars on the left and right of the screen(kind of like when you watch a movie you have the widescreen with the black bars on the top and bottom). i contacted my cable company but they do not know what the problem is and i can not find any aspect ratio settings to try to solve this problem. any help?
You need to set the DVR for a 16:9 TV, and the TV aspect for "full" mode.
