HELP! ok I bought the samsung 50inch dlp hdtv (projection) I had it installed with regulard standard direct tv
well the picture I have to say looks horrible. Even when I plug in my dvd player (which is not hd, its cheap) my dvd picture looks horrible. How can I make the picture look better
just like my tv!
the directv clowns installed it WRONG... they take the easy way out!
you NEED to go HDMI or (HDMI->DVI)
You probably got component or even worse s-video!
the HD DVR will give you glorious HD on the 150 channels ... errr... dozen channels.
and make sure you have it set at 720 for a 720 line set or 1080 for a 1080 line set.
