how can i get out of going to an All Region Band Audition?
well im in middle school and we have all region band auditions in 4 weeks but i really dont wanna go. the music is super hard cause last year was the easy music. i dont wanna go and i told my parents i dont wanna go but they were like no you're gonna go. what do i tell my band director if i miss the audition?
I truthfully wouldn't want to pull out. I was unfortunate to never be able to try out for any district county bands in my area because most of them are lottery and there are so many flutes you get skipped over very easily.
Plus this opens a door to lots of oppertunities as well.
If you really, really don't want to go talk to your band director and explain to him that you don't want to go because the music is difficult and you wantto focus on school.
However please think about what your doing, I would highly, highly, highly. HIGHLY, have I said highly reccomend not doing this but practice the music and try to get in
