I have two European Philips plasma televisions and I am moving to America. Will they work? (NTSC/PAL/plugs)?
They're both the first generation plasma models, so no HD. I am aware that a simple adapter will work to make the plugs fit on American outlets but how about the format? Will NTSC/PAL be a problem?
The U.S. dosn't transmit PAL signals but I think you can you can buy a format converter for your TV. I know they have them for Pal Dvd players so you can watch PAL DVD's on an NTSC TV so I would imagine that they have something like that for the TV itself.
